Whoever penned the quote “sing and dance like
nobody’s watching”must have been talking about
Faith Gibson, says her mom, Jamie Gibson.
“She is just an amazing little girl who smiles
nonstop and truly has a heart of gold,” Jamie says.
“She has more compassion, fight and strength than
anyone I have ever met.”
She says 2015 has been an amazing year for Faith—
she’s learned her ABCs, started playing soccer with
her older sister, Laci, and even learned she was
going to become a big sister herself.
“She loves playing ‘big sister’ already,” Jamie says.
The active life Faith lives now is one her mom never
even dreamed about before the transplant.
Jamie says. “Once Faith can tell her story, I believe
she will have an impact on the world and all who
hear her journey.”
Faith truly is able
to enjoy life, and
does so every day
with a smile
on her face,

This year’s A Special Place
became a little more special
with the addition of a new wind
gael sculpture to CORE’s gazebo.
The sculpture also functions as
a wind chime that spins and
moves in the breeze, topped
with a beautiful butterfly as a
symbol of the life transformation
that organ, tissue and cornea
donation offers others.
1. A life that touches
others goes on forever.
2. Those we love don’t
go away; they walk
beside us every day.
3. Unseen, unheard,
but always near.
4. I saved lives, inspired
people and made
miracles happen.
5. A Special Place…
A Special Person.

Engraved with five inspiring
phrases, the sculpture was
designed to provide a peaceful,
calming place to reflect and
find comfort.
