After setting the goal of 537 organs transplanted, the CORE team finished the year just
one below the projection at 536.
Corneas transplanted remained steady in 2014 at 71 percent, just under last year’s
71.8 percent. The goal for 2014 was 74 percent, raised 6 percent over the 2013 goal
of 68 percent.
With a jump of 7.5 percent, tissue donors increased from 986 in 2013 to 1,060 in 2014.
CORE topped the 2014 goal of 1,019 by 41.
