Awareness Night” at the Erie
BayHawks vs. Canton Charge
basketball game. It was an
important educational effort to
raise awareness of the need for
more organ, tissue and cornea
donors.
During the January 10 game,
transplant recipients shared their
stories of how organ donation
impacted their lives. CORE’s Erie
Volunteer Task Force hosted a
table to share information
regarding the urgent need for
people to become registered
donors.
